CSA Extras

We have "extras" available for purchase including eggs, butter, beef, and cheese.

The eggs are free range.  They are from our chickens or from the Stoner family who own Apple Valley Creamery. 

The butter is also either from our farm or from Apple Valley.  The cows, which the milk for the butter comes from, are grass-fed and hormone-free. 

The beef is from our farm, pasture-raised.  We butcher 3-5 steers each year.  Our ground beef is very lean since we put the entire front half of the steer into it.  The steaks are sold by the pound and are in packs of two steaks.  You can order them by the pack and we will weigh them on our per pound scales.

We also offer non-homogenized, non-pasteurized, natural cheese from Ed Breckinbill of Whispering Brook Farm, Chambersburg, PA.  His cheese are very good and wholesome.  Ed's cheese packs vary in weight from .4 lb to .75 lb.  We sell it by the packages, but since the weights vary, the cost varies, but the per pound price stays the same. 

 If you wish to order any extras for purchase, please e-mail us and we will add it to your share and you can pay at the market stand with cash, check, or VISA Mastercard (if the bill is over $15.00).
